Welcome to the website of the Scottish Goju-Ryu Karate-Do Association.

The SGKA was co-founded by Sensei John Lambert and Sensei Jim Flannigan to promote, support and encourage the teaching of the traditional Okinanwan martial art of Goju-Ryu Karate.

The site provides informarion for individuals interested in starting Karate for the fist time, those thinking about returning to Karate and everyone with an interest in Karate or Goju-Ryu in particular.

The site is also a central resource for the members of the SGKA, providing News, Events, Documentation and access to this invaluable assistance on their path to success with the SGKA.

The SGKA is non-profit making organisation focusing on helping all to achieve the highest possible standard in Karate.

We are a family friendly association welcoming all ages* into our art.

2011 IRI KUMI - FINAL ROUND - TOURNAMENT SAN

This year Iri Kumi competition comes come to an end with the FINAL round - Tournament SAN. This is the last chance to get either those valuable points or perhaps gain experience for next year. Contact your dojo Sensei for further details.
